Ironbound Castings produces nickel and Monel alloy castings for the most demanding corrosion and high-temperature service environments in the offshore, chemical processing, Navy, and industrial sectors. We pour Monel 400, CW-12MW (Hastelloy C equivalent), and related high-nickel grades.
Every nickel alloy casting is produced with full chemistry and mechanical property certification. We maintain controlled melting practices for high-nickel alloys to ensure proper chemistry, grain structure, and freedom from hot-tearing defects. In-house machining and inspection complete the part to your requirements.
MONEL 400 (M35-1)
The standard Navy and marine Monel grade — exceptional resistance to seawater, hydrofluoric acid, and a wide range of chemical environments. Used for Navy fittings, pump components, and valve bodies.
CW-12MW (HASTELLOY C EQUIV.)
Highest-alloy nickel grade for the most aggressive chemical process and offshore service environments — superior resistance to chlorides, oxidizing acids, and pitting corrosion.
HIGH-NICKEL SPECIALTY GRADES
Custom high-nickel casting compositions to customer specification or applicable MIL-SPEC for Navy, defense, and specialty chemical industry applications.
