Ironbound Castings uses green sand molding to produce high-quality non-ferrous and ferrous castings across a wide range of alloys including bronze, aluminum, stainless steel, and nickel alloys. Green sand is our highest-volume process, offering outstanding versatility for both small and large production runs.
Our craftsmen pack green sand molds by hand and with machine assistance to achieve fine surface finishes and consistent dimensional tolerances. Every casting is inspected before leaving the foundry, and full material certifications with test bars are available for any production alloy.

Tin bronze, leaded tin bronze, manganese bronze, aluminum bronze, and silicon bronze poured in green sand. Ideal for marine fittings, pump components, bearings, and Navy-spec applications.

A356, 319, 535, and other aluminum alloys poured in green sand for lightweight structural and mechanical castings. Excellent surface finish and dimensional consistency for machined components.

CF8M, CF8, Monel 400, and high-nickel alloy castings for corrosion-resistant applications in chemical processing, offshore, and high-temperature service environments.
Ironbound Castings produces green sand castings ranging from a few ounces to several hundred pounds per piece. Our induction furnaces support pours up to 6,000 lbs, and our molding equipment accommodates a wide range of flask sizes to match your casting geometry.
Green sand castings from Ironbound Castings serve U.S. Navy and defense programs, marine and shipbuilding applications, oil and gas equipment, power generation components, and general industrial machinery. Contact us with your drawing and alloy specification to receive a quote.
